HOW WILL I BE PAID?
Fairytale Delight Events will mail a check to the independent contractor for an agreed upon fee (lump sum, hourly, weekly, monthly, etc.) upon completion of work for the provided services. On certain occasions, the independent contractor will receive the full payment for the services provided on day of the event directly from the client upon completion when dealing with cash. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE PAYMENT?
Fairytale Delight Events accounts payable department does all the weeks’ billing on Mondays. If an independent contractor is hired for an event on a Monday, a check will be mailed for the services performed, the following Monday. It usually takes 2-3 business days for checks to arrive (depending on location). For more information please call.
WILL I BE COVERED UNDER YOUR COMPANY’S INSURANCE?
As a self-employed individual, the independent contractor assumes all responsibility for maintaining all appropriate licensing and insurance, and accepts legal responsibilities and exposure associated with performing the job. For more information please call.
WHAT IF A CUSTOMER IS UNHAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF MY WORK OR THE SERVICES I AM PROVIDING?
The independent contractor is accountable for satisfying specific performance expectations, including delivering customer service. For more information please call.
WHAT IF A CUSTOMER WANTS TO HIRE ME DIRECTLY FOR A SEPARATE EVENT?
Fairytale Delight Events will provide all performers with business cards and/or flyers to distribute to interested customers. All Fairytale Delight business cards have a blank name space on the reverse side for performers to write their names for future referrals. For more information please call.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE EVENT?
Fairytale Delight Events currently has specific uniform guidelines that consist of a black top (shirt or blouses), black pants (no jeans) and very colorful accessories; accessories must all be the same color (watch, hat, bracelets, belt, earrings, shoes scarf, etc.). Independent contractors performing services that require a specific uniform (magician, mascot, themed character, or corporate company employees) are excluded from wearing a uniform.
